Join the Senior Savers Club
Are you or someone you know of over 60 years of age, retired and looking for some canine company?
​Our Senior Savers Club allows you to permanently foster a senior dachshund 10 years or older, with many of the expenses covered by us.
How it works

We take care of the adoption fee and pay all necessary vet bills.

You provide the pet food and all of the unconditional love.

Your Senior Saver will then stay with you until they pass, or your circumstances change.
Are you eligible?

Are you over 60 years of age and retired?

In a home that allows 1 or 2 dogs?

Have no small children living with you?
If the answer to these questions is ‘yes’, then join our Senior Savers Club today! Not only will you be providing a retirement home to our senior dogs, but you'll also help curb the loneliness of senior humans, and free up valuable space for more rescue dogs to come into The Dachshund Haven to be rehomed.

There is no adoption fee for the Senior Saver Programme, although the homing process remains the same.
